Sure, I bought it used at Long-McQuade musical instruments store. But 3 days only? I played in about 5 times at home only. On the 4th day there was no signal coming out of the Phones/out socket and it produced a noise as if the ground was disconnected. It tried resetting itself with no success. I decided to write this review because I haven't seen any complaints about the technical durability of the G300. Apparently, it can be a problem, even though mine was bought in excellent cosmetic condition, no traces of it being dropped etc.

I am glad it died so soon so I could get a refund.

Else, the pedal has 128 memory slots. They come with factory-preset sounds. The cleans are beautiful and professionally sounding (warm tone). Each preset can be modified by user and reset back to factory state.

It doesn't have

-pickup simulator

-acoustic simulator

-rotary

All effects are generated in stereo.

It all was "too good to be true" in my particular case. Perhaps you'd be having better fortune than me :)

I have tried virtually every effects processor, stomp box, etc. on the market. THIS THING ROCKS!!! In my humble opinion, the only thing better is the Rocktron Prophesy II (almost $2000) Yes it has all the normal accompaniments such as reverb, chorus, delay, tremolo, detune, etc. All the timed effects. But the real gold to be had is in the distortion. Absolutely the best. Modern ultra tight, ultra linear, totally customizable. I play 8 string guitars and this thing can reach down and swim with the low frequency of the F string. All the while maintaining that super saturation without all the noise and breakup of other digital modulation. Even Line 6 can't do that. (not without spending the $$$ for the VETTA II head) I cannot say enough good things about the distortion of this unit. Too many types and sounds to list. Like the brochure says, "we didn't try to model your grandpas 69 bassman."

MAJOR downfalls: The built in tuner is as worthless as Barack Obama. Totally useless. The other major issue is the lag time between patches. This makes the pedal board utterly useless for playing live. Not sure why it hasn't been addressed by Rocktron. Other than these two issues, If I lost mine today, I would buy another tomorrow.
