The DeckSaver line is described as "a polycarbonate dust cover". I should have known better and not blind ordered the item based on hype.1. "polycarbonate" means, Rubbermaid container lid. The material is soft and flexible, not hard like a traditional turntable cover. It's a thin plastic too.
2. The plastic isn't in perfect condition with light scratch streaks right out of the shipping bag. It looked like someone wiped this down with a paper towel before sending.
3. The product was shipped in a plastic bag with a "DeckSaver" branded cardboard badge stapled to the open end of the bag. For $80, I'd expect the product to come better protected than this.
4. In the images, the DeckSaver wrapped around the edges of the Pioneer DDJ-T1. On the DDJ-S1 (verified compatible by the official DeckSaver website), it won't drop all the way down. The edges of the DeckSaver sit on the curved ends of the USB controller
This product is ... well ... what it is. A thin, plastic, not so well fitting, dust cover. I'm more upset in myself for buying it. There's no way that this product can justify an $80 price tag.
If you live in an extremely organized, well kept, showroom of a house ... the DeckSaver is pretty. It looks nice. Otherwise, a nice piece of cloth from the fabric store will do the same thing for $5.

This is a great investment for someone that likes to care for their equipment. The cover fits perfect, protecting the DDJ from dust. Highly recommended!
